...more on Jenny and I

a little background:
Jenny and I met through a mutual friend, Bonnie. The three of us would occasionally hang out together at Eaten Park/Denny's, that kind of thing. When Bonnie decided to move to Japan, Jenny and I continued to talk. To make a long story short a friend of mine was having a birthday dinner so I asked Jenny if she would like to go. She says she realized we were on a date when after going to the restroom at the same time, I stayed to wait on her. She realized this after getting to the table to find I hadn't made it back yet. That night was wonderful, Jenny stills laughs about the short sleeve button up shirt that I wore under my sports jacket. She got cold so I gave her my jacket to wear revealing my true dorkiness. We spent hours talking on my front porch that night. The next day after a long talk we declared ourselves dating and two weeks later started talking about marriage. We were engaged six weeks later and married six months to the day after our first date. We knew after that first date that we were meant to be together.

Jenny is amazing. I don't know where I would be without her. She is the most honest, kind, caring and loving person I have ever met and I am blessed to have her in my life. I have had a wonderful time these past four years and look forward to the rest of our lives together as we build our family.

(warning: jenny and i know the claus's very well and they lent us a picture, they are good role models of what love is really about)

4 years...

Jenny and I celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary tonight. We had a wonderful time. It was the longest period that both of us had been away from the baby. Jenny's mom babysat for us. We all survived. We had dinner at The Melting Pot. It's a fondue restaurant in Pittsburgh. The chocolate fondue dessert at the end was incredible. And as my mother says we are still in love yet.
