Happy St Patrick's Day

Here we go!

I started this blog for two reasons: First, I get frustrated when I pick-up parenting magazines that are by moms for moms. What about the Dad? I thought it would be nice to have some perspective on adoption and parenting from the man's view. That being said I must admit that I'm not exactly a tough guy (the fact that I started a blog gives it away I'm sure). Second, I'm kinda jealous of Jenny's "imaginary blog friends". I tease jenny all the time about her blog buddies but the reality is there are some good people in the imaginary blog world. Jenny and I are both blessed to have such a strong and loving support group and the friends we've made throughout our adoption process are very real.
I must warn you that I can't spell(thank God for spell-check), my grammar is poor at best and I will never be as good a writer as Jenny. She received her Dad's ability to write. He was a great writer of poetry, stories, wit and wisdom. I also must warn you that this blog seems like a good idea tonight but may go through phases were it sits dormant. Like a typical guy I tend to start a project then get bored with it but I will try to keep up with this blog. I'm off to bed. I will leave you with a picture of my two favorite girls.
